DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MONOCOT AND DICOT

The main difference between Monocot and Dicot plants is that dicots plants contains two cotyledons in it's embryo whereas Monocot contains a single cotyledons in it's embryo. The angiosperms or the flowering plants are most diversed group of plants.Most of the plants that you see in your surrounding are the members of this group (Angiosperms). Angiosperms plants divided into Monocot and Dicot plants.These two (Monocot and Dicot) show four structural difference: roots, stems, leaves and flower.
